so what are we all about?
Slowpitch softball is a game that we can all play! It`s fun, very social and as competitive as you want it to be. We have a great mix of people, having complete beginners that join us every year and some who have been playing with us since we started in 1998.
There are gay men, lesbians, gay friendlies, beginners and experienced who would like to have a bit of a hit. And the guys and girls are from all aspects of our community from straight, twinks to bears, gym bunnies to common variety and a great contingent of lesbians.
Regular social matches are organised throughout the winter months, while in summer we coordinate weekly competition and a full league. We will be playing with 11 teams for the 2009/10 season - more than 150 players.
We play on the diamonds opposite Fox Studios and the summer league games are played each Tuesday evening starting 6.30pm. We have a drink and a feed after the game as well at Fox & Lion.
We`re very social, friendly and welcoming and it`s a great way to meet some guys/girls that you probably would not meet on the usual circuits. Don't worry if you have never played before, we have newbies every year.

Team Sydney Mardi Gras Parade entry
Get involved in Mardi Gras Parade 2010.
Please let us know by 5pm on 26 January (latest), if you'd like to to get involved with our sports participation in the Team Sydney Mardi Gras entry.
You have two options:
1. Join the Team Sydney choreographed marching entry (You'll dress up OR down in softball team outfits. We'll rehearse our steps twice leading up to the event; with one compulsory rehearsal for the entire Team Sydney entry on Sat 20 Feb 4pm-8pm).
2. Join the Team Sydney entry as a free-walker (You'll dress up OR down in the same team outfit our choreographed marchers wear, but you won't need to rehearse the steps.
Instead you will walk on either side of the marchers, exciting the crowd and running water to our marchers.
