About
Community Workshops & Conversations
Over the coming months, the committee will be hosting a series of community workshops and yarning sessions focused on how we can continue making Outfielders as inclusive, welcoming, and representative as possible for underserved communities within our league.
These conversations will explore ways to better support female and gender diverse players, strengthen First Nations engagement, create more community-focused events, and continue building stronger connections across our broader LGBTQIA+ sporting community.
Importantly, we want this work to go beyond tokenism and create meaningful, lasting change for underserved communities within the league. These sessions will be about listening, learning, sharing experiences, and hearing directly from members about what they want to see from Outfielders moving forward.
Our first sessions will be:
First Nations Community Yarn — Wednesday 27th May at 7pm
