Ball Breakers

Ball Breakers, or BB’s (also known as "Best Buddies"), are more than just a softball team—they're a tight-knit group of friends. With 20 years of laughter, friendship, and a few wins along the way, the Ball Breakers bring fun both on the field and off, whether it’s at a game or on the dance floor. Known for their humour and spirit, they always make sure to share a hug before every game. Ball Breakers: always competitive, always fun!

Bare Batters

Bare Batters are a team built on inclusivity, personal growth, and mutual support. Despite many players being new to softball, they quickly became a close-knit group that encourages each other both on and off the field. This team creates a welcoming environment, particularly for those exploring their identity within the LGBTIQ+ community, offering a safe space for everyone. If you’re looking to improve your skills while being part of a supportive and fun team, Bare Batters is the place to be!

Base Invaders

The Base Invaders are all about having fun and fostering team spirit, both on and off the field. Known for their strong camaraderie and supportive environment, they enjoy every game with plenty of laughs and the occasional friendly banter. Socially active, they love a post-game pub session and are always up for creating memorable team moments. If you're looking for a team that’s competitive but prioritises having a good time and building friendships, the Base Invaders are a perfect fit!

Comets

The Comets have been shining in the league for 17 years, originally founded by a softball player from London. Known for their dedication and fun spirit, they mix things up by rotating positions and developing both individual and team skills. With two original members still on board, they’ve won the last three championships but are most proud of the friendly, inclusive atmosphere they help foster. For the Comets, it’s all about loving the game and growing together, both on the field and off.

Galahs

In their fifth season, the Galahs have gone from humble beginnings to making the grand final! This team prides itself on inclusivity, bringing together a vibrant and diverse group of mates who have grown together both on and off the field. The Galahs are full of energy and determination, and they can’t wait to build on their success and aim for the top next season. If you’re looking for a fun, supportive team, the Galahs are the perfect fit!

Oddballs

With six years under their belt, the Oddballs are a dynamic and growing team that embraces new members, dogs, and even babies each season. Known for their strong camaraderie and fun spirit, they continue to build a close-knit community on and off the field. If you're looking for a team that balances fun and softball while welcoming players of all backgrounds, the Oddballs are the perfect fit! Here's to many more seasons together!

Ohana

Celebrated 10 years in the Sydney Outfielders league, Ohana is a team that thrives on family spirit and fun. With a strong blend of experienced players and enthusiastic newcomers, they focus on building skills while keeping the game enjoyable. Known for their supportive atmosphere, they are always looking out for each other—whether it’s through teamwork on the field or bringing high energy and mascots to every game. Ohana lives by their motto, "Have fun!"—and they definitely do, season after season.

Formerly 'Fowl Ballers'

Phoenix Flyers began as a group of eager novices and quickly grew into a team defined by sportsmanship and camaraderie. Their journey has been filled with shared laughs, triumphs, and lessons learned, bringing them closer together. More than victories, their true legacy lies in the bonds they've formed and the joy they share on and off the field.

Pickles

Pickles had an incredible season full of fun, laughter, and remarkable growth. The team has seen players make impressive improvements, all while having a great time on and off the field. Even when short on players, they pushed through and finished 3rd this season. With a determined spirit, they’re already eyeing the trophy next season—Comets, watch out! If you want a team that combines competitive play with a fun-loving attitude, Pickles is the team to join!

Pitch Please

Founded in 2024, "Pitch Please!" is the newest team to join the league, bringing together a vibrant mix of new and seasoned players of all skill levels. The team is built on the principles of inclusivity, fun, and sportspersonship, ensuring that every player feels welcome and valued. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, Pitch Please! is the perfect place to enjoy the game and make new friends.
