Secretary
If you love a clear plan and keeping things on track, this could be your spot.
Coordinate meeting notices, agendas and minutes; maintain association records and registers; and help manage correspondence and communications with members and captains.
A good fit for someone organised, dependable, attentive to detail and comfortable handling information confidentially.
Social Officer
Have ideas for getting Outfielders together beyond Tuesday nights? Help turn them into events.
Plan and coordinate parties, community gatherings and the social side of our AGM and awards. Work with committee members, volunteers and venues to make events welcoming and enjoyable.
A good fit for someone with enthusiasm, creativity, people skills and the organisation to bring an idea to life.
Ordinary Committee Member
There’s nothing ordinary about helping our community thrive.
A full committee position contributing to discussions, decisions and voting, while taking ownership of agreed tasks. Support events, equipment, sponsorship, recruitment or other league projects, depending on your strengths and the committee’s needs.
A good fit for someone reliable who works constructively with others and enjoys getting involved.
What’s involved?
Regular committee meetings, communication between meetings and following through on agreed responsibilities. Planning continues outside the playing season too.
No previous committee experience is needed. Skills from work, volunteering or everyday life are welcome. We’ll provide handover and support, and share the workload — you won’t be expected to do everything alone.
Interested? Put your hand up.
Email info@sydneyoutfielders.org.au with the subject Committee EOI – [role] and tell us which role interests you, why you’d like to get involved, the skills or ideas you’d bring, and your availability.
A short email is absolutely fine — no polished application required. You’re welcome to get in touch for a chat first.
